Spiced Almond Flour Pancakes

Upgrade your pancakes! This classic breakfast treat gets a recipe makeover with nutrient dense almond flour, chia seeds and sprinkles of spices that sweeten your pancakes without adding sugar.  

What you need…

1 ½ C     Blanched almond flour

3             Eggs

¾ C        Almond milk

1 tsp      Vanilla extract

1 TBS     Chia seeds (optional)

Spice it up with dashes of cinnamon, cardamom, allspice, ginger, cloves and nutmeg!


What to do…

Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well with an immersion blender

Pour ¼ C batter circles onto medium heat skillet and cook until bubbly on edges and light brown on both sides

Top with a good quality maple syrup and fresh fruit. Pancakes are like having dessert for breakfast, so eat them in moderation.
